Originating in England and denoting the era of Queen Victoria's reign during the 19th century, Victorian architecture was adopted widely in the United States. Explore this era through its architecture, marked by steep roofs, colorfully painted facades, ornate gables and towers, from London rowhouses to San Francisco's "Painted Ladies" to Brooklyn's mansions. This class takes place on Wednesdays, February 3, 17, March 3, and 17 from 1-2 pm (Eastern). Each class session takes place live online with an opportunity to interact with the speaker. Sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing as well.
